Groups are how we make a big church smaller.

"We must believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as he commanded us." - 1 John 3:23

Life is better together! Life gets messy and complicated; we get stuck and struggle to move forward. Groups are designed to help people find a way out and up. They are where you go to connect with other people and develop authentic relationships. In a group you can dig deep into God’s Word and wrestle with how to apply it to your everyday life.
Groups really are the optimal place for you to become more like Christ, to be and to become all that God has promised, and purposed for your life!

Community Groups

Community Groups are the ultimate “landing spot” for lasting impact and change. With several different types of Community Groups to choose from, you can decide what fits best for you!

Each group is typically made up of 8-12 people and meets regularly throughout the ministry year (Sept. – May). Time is devoted to fellowship, study, prayer and discussion focused on the application of God’s Word to our daily lives. Many small groups follow the DIG DEEP discussion questions that are based off the central truths of the weekend’s sermon. Discussion facilitated by group leaders is both real and relevant to the unique make-up of each group. Winter/Spring Groups launch the week of January 10, but groups are starting all the time so feel free to join whenever you're ready.

Find a group

that is right for you!

Something good happens when women get together! Each group and event for is specifically intended to help equip and encourage you in your walk with Christ. You can choose to sign up for a large study that breaks into smaller groups to discuss and apply the lesson, provide mutual support and pray. Or let us know you are interested in one of the many other small groups meeting throughout the week, and we’ll help you get connected.

The Messy Church

Sundays | 6:30-8:30pm | In-Person

Join this motley crew of women digging into God's word and each others' messy lives as we look at the messy church in Corinth, and ask "what does it mean to be the church?"

My Utmost For His Highest

Tuesdays* | 9:30-11am | In-Person

Join us in meditation on God’s Word, using the classic devotional, My Utmost for His Highest, and companion book as our guide. We will enjoy the daily devotions independently and then discuss as a group during weekly meetings. My Utmost and its companion guide will “encourage and move you to think more deeply about your relationship with the Lord.”

*We are not able to offer childcare on Tues mornings due to the pandemic.

Begins March 29 | Monday* | 7-9pm | In-Person

Begins MArch 31 | Wednesdays | 9:30-11am | Virtual Only

Journey through the life and times of the prophet Elijah to discover how the fire on Mount Carmel was forged in the valley of famine. And how the emboldened, fiery faith you desire is being fashioned by God in your life right now.  Blinded by the remarkable narratives of our biblical heroes, we can forget they each had a backstory--months and years of development, even difficulty, which fortified their spiritual muscle and prepared them for the tasks that made their lives unforgettable.

Precepts - 2 Thessalonians

Fridays | 9:30-11am | In-Person AND Virtual

The Thessalonians were interested in the end times, just as we are today.  But they were confused until they received these letters from Paul. We will look at the principles of exemplary Christian living, understanding spiritual warfare sparked by the presence of the gospel in the world, and the rapture of the church-God's ultimate rescue.

Chasing Vines

Fridays | 10am-12pm | In-Person AND Virtual

Join Beth Moore on her journey of discovering what it means to chase vines--and learn how everything changes when we understand and fully embrace God's amazing design for growing us into fruitful, meaningful, abundant life.  Note:  This study began in the fall, but new participants are welcome to join at any time.

We're currently planning the best way to help you as mothers connect with the difficult logistics of the pandemic. If you're interested in a Moms Group, please register and you'll be contacted about the specifics as they develop.

MOPS - Mothers of Preschoolers

Come enjoy a few quiet hours of encouragement each month to fellowship with other moms and enjoy adult conversation.

MIMS - Mothers in the Middle

We try to be real about the difficulties of parenting elementary-aged children (6-12 years) and encourage one another with godly wisdom along the way.

MOTS - Mothers of Teenagers

It’s tough being a teenager, and maybe even tougher being the parent of one! Join us as we discuss the risks and rewards of parenting teens.

CMOs - Chief Mom Officers

CMOs is dedicated to connecting moms with careers and kids (ages infant to 12th grade) and to support each other through the unique triumphs and challenges that we face. Meets virtually on Zoom the second Wednesday of each month from 12:00-1:00pm, or the second Thursday of each month from 7:30-8:30pm, and in person at Ladies Night In.

Young Adults

Tuesdays | 7-9pm | Ages 18-29

The Bible teaches that life-change happens best in the context of relationships and Community Groups play a vital role in helping us grow in our spiritual walk. In community we are known, loved, cared for, pursued, encouraged, and challenged to be more like Christ.

What does a real man, a godly man, look like in today’s world? Men’s groups are not only designed to answer that question, but to challenge men in their pursuit of that call. We need other men in our lives to shape and sharpen us. Fill out the group request form and we’ll help you get connected to one of the men’s small groups meeting throughout the week.

Spending time as a couple, growing in your faith, and building relationships with others in a similar space in life is both a skill and a gift. Married couples, often grouped by age, affinity and location, meet in small groups to study and apply God’s Word, fellowship, and prayer.

Meets Various Date & Locations

We all have something to learn and something to share, and a group that is made up of a variety of people can provide a perfect to do both. Mixed groups are for those interested in a small group with both married and single people. Each small group gathers to dig deeper into God’s Word and apply it to their lives.

Looking for a place to get started at Covenant?

These classes are foundational for every believer at Covenant. Core Classes provide interactive teaching on specific topics for those who want to understand and experience what it is to be a disciple and to grow as a disciple-maker. Each Core Class is offered several times during the ministry year.

Being part of a church means more than merely attending weekend worship services. It involves catching the vision, sharing the passion and partnering in the work. Discovering Covenant is the best opportunity to really know what makes us tick as a church and how you can plug in. This is the first step if you are interested in membership. This class is offered several times throughout the year. Stay tuned for when we announce the next one.

Baptism is an outward expression of an inward commitment to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Covenant believes that baptism is for anyone who is a follower of Christ and his/her children. It is an opportunity to proclaim Jesus publicly! It is a step of obedience in response to a command - a way for us to identify with Christ and His church. It is an awesome celebration of all God has done for us through His death and resurrection!

If you would like to learn more about baptism, you are encouraged to attend one of these Core Classes. The class is preparation and a prerequisite for anyone planning to be baptized at Covenant. There is a class offered for teens and adults and another for those with an infant or young child.

These Core Classes will help you grow as a disciple and disciple-maker. They cover the essentials you need to live out the Christian life, foundational principles, and practices that flow from an identity rooted in Christ and His Word. You don’t have to take them in order, but it helps!

101  Develop Habits for Spiritual Maturity: Find out what it means to be more like Jesus, to spend time with God, be a good steward of all he provides and plug into the power of community.
