Groups are how we make a big church smaller. Our goal is to get you into a group where you can cultivate a deeper relationship with God and others.

Life gets messy and complicated; we get stuck and struggle to move forward. Groups are designed to help people find a way out and up. They are where you go to connect with other people and develop authentic relationships. In a group you can dig deep into God’s Word and openly wrestle with how to apply it to your everyday life.

Whether you are just exploring or beginning your faith journey or have been walking with God a long time, we all have steps to take to become more like Christ. Groups really are the optimal place for you to be and to become all that God has promised and purposed for your life.

"Let's not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another..." Hebrews 10:25

Community Groups

Groups are the ultimate landing spot for lasting impact and change. They are the best place to grow in Christ and build relationships. While many of our Community Groups, Care Groups, and Core Studies will be taking the summer ‘off’, don’t confuse this as an excuse to do ‘nothing’. Summer is an intentional time to be refreshed, resourced, and relationally renewed before we kick off a new ministry year on September 8.

If you’re not already connected, don’t put it off! We have 7 different types of Community Groups to choose from. Groups for men, women, moms, young adults, singles, married couples, and groups with a mixture of all these. We’ll help you find a good fit and have a group leader invite you to whatever events they may have planned for the summer.

You can find out what's happening this summer below.

Something good happens when women get together! Each group and event for women is specifically intended to help equip and encourage you in your walk with Christ. Below, you can see each of the six main events we have going on this summer by clicking on their titles.

Gals At Galena
Families At Galena
Fellowship In The Sun

Monday Morning Bible Blast

Ladies! Each week, our Women’s Ministry Director emails out a Bible Blast.

Bible Blasts are short devotionals based on insights from today and linked to a verse of Scripture. These blasts also include reminders of upcoming key events. If you would like to be added to the distribution list, please click here.

Ages 18-30: This is a season of discovery and mixed messages! Young Adults is a community group that provides a safe and solid place to work this stuff out. No matter your story, background, or situation, if you’re a Young Adult we want to create places for you to go and grow, to know and be known.

Over the summer our schedules changes a bit from the rest of the year. So make sure you get these dates for Gather Sundays in your calendar and RSVP for our Adulting Huddles.

Adulting Huddles

What might the world of adulting throw at you? Maybe it’s choosing a career, deciding if you’re ready to get married, or figuring out how to stay of debt after college. Well, come out to our adulting huddles and get some help from people who have been there and done that. These will be fun, chill, and interactive. Light snacks and drinks will be provided. Please RSVP to the sessions you're attending.

Pig Out!

July 27  |  3 pm

401 Telegraph Road, Perkasie

We're going hog wild! This is an awesome opportunity to stay OR get connected over the summer before we re-launch our normal schedule in the fall. Come on out, bring a side dish, and an appetite.

Spending time as a couple, growing in your faith, and building relationships with others in a similar space in life is both a skill and a gift. Married couples, often grouped by age, affinity and location, meet in small groups to study and apply God’s Word, creating a warm environment for open and honest sharing, fellowship and prayer. These small groups meet in people’s homes at various times the first three weeks of each month.

Be sure to look for new groups starting up this Fall!

We're currently taking
a summer break.

Be sure to get connected
come Fall!

MOPS: Mothers of Preschoolers - Would you like a few quiet hours of encouragement each month to fellowship with other moms and enjoy adult conversation? We meet the first Thursday of the Month (October through May) from 9:15-11a.m.

MIMS: Mothers in the Middle – Meeting the second Thursday of the month (October through May) from 9:30-11 a.m. We try to be real about the difficulties of parenting (6-12 years of age children) and encourage one another with godly wisdom along the way.

MOTS: Mothers of Teenagers - It’s tough being a teenager, and maybe even tougher being the parent of one! Join us as we discuss the risks and rewards of parenting teens. Meeting the third Thursday of the month (October through May), from 12:30-2:30 p.m.

Married and Single

We all have something to learn and something to share, and a group that is made up of a variety of people can provide a perfect place to do both. Mixed groups are for those interested in a small group with both married and single people. Each small group gathers to dig deeper into God’s Word and apply it to their lives. The meet at various times and locations at least three times each month.

We're taking the summer to plan more groups like this for the Fall!

Ages 30+

Being single has its benefits and challenges. These small groups meet together to study and apply God’s Word, to grow as disciples and disciple-makers, to develop healthy and meaningful relationships with other singles, and to serve the church and community. Let us know if this might be a place for you to land and we’ll have a leader reach out and tell you more.

Looking for a place to get started at Covenant?

These classes are foundational for every believer at Covenant. Core Classes provide the tools and teaching to help us grow as disciples and disciple-makers. Each Core Class is offered three times during the ministry year. Lunch provided and childcare available.

Baptism at Covenant

Baptism is an outward expression of an inward commitment to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Covenant believes that baptism is for anyone who is a follower of Christ and his/her children. It is an opportunity to proclaim Jesus publicly! It is a step of obedience in response to a command - a way for us to identify with Christ and His church. It is an awesome celebration of all God has done for us through His death and resurrection!
