Why We Give
In every way I’ve shown you that by laboring like this, it is necessary to help the weak and to keep in mind the words of the Lord Jesus, for He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ Acts 20:35
General Fund Giving
Donations to Covenant Church's General Fund make possible the day-to-day ministries (our local ministry), regional and global missions (church planting partners and missionaries).
The Deacon's Fund
The Deacon's Fund is a critical component of the local outreach ministry at Covenant.
The first Deacons (Acts 6:1-7) were appointed to serve the widows, orphans, poor and overlooked of the fast growing church family. This role has expanded to any and all who are experiencing a hardship or have a critical need beyond their ability to handle it alone. The Covenant Church Diaconate's (AKA Mercy Team) scope of service is:
- Covenant Church Members
- The larger body of believers
- The community of Central Bucks
The Deacon's Fund supports the Mercy Team in their efforts to help with the physical and practical necessities of those in the Body of Christ in need. Coordinating assistance for those experiencing a hardship, arranging short-term financial assistance for those in sudden need, facilitating labor and maintenance for the elderly, single parents, or those who are unable due to illness or injury are a few example of activities our diaconate lead to reflect Christ in our community. The practical support they provide includes helping individuals progress toward independence.

BOLDER Building Expansion
Covenant Church is growing beyond our building's capacity to hold us! This is great news, but it also means that in order to continue to open our doors to new people from our community we need to make space for them by expanding our building.
For continued growth and expansion, Covenant Church needs men and women who are willing to take ownership of that vision and are willing to lead in that vision, and who also express the resourcing of that Vision through generosity.
As we come to the end of the first full year of our BOLDER building expansion fund the BOLDER vision for doubling the number of people we can minister to on this property is becoming a reality.
If you have not yet made a pledge to the BOLDER building expansion project, call the church office to let us know your annual pledge so that we know to count on your gift toward this project!
